- “Don’t look down” is a phrase that has haunted my existence for many years. It conjures up stark images of a moment in my life I regret, but can look back on with a smile.
Feel free to speculate!
It wasn’t until after the blog was up and running that I realised ‘Don’t Look Down’ is a fairly unhelpful title to have.
About the blog
- This Tumblr started out as a means of giving my webcomic of the same name it’s own space on the net. I was never particularly punctual with the updates, though, and needed stuff to fill the gaps between instalments. I guess that was the point it became a proper ‘blog’.
The comic didn’t take off. I don’t have the skills or the patience to regularly draw strips (although I do still make them, on occasion). This blog is mostly a place for me to ramble on about various things. Mostly music, because music is amazing.
About the author
(Aw, jeez, I hate introducing myself…)- I’m Nick Chaffey. I spent five years of my life learning about film theory and film making, and I’ve yet to put any of that experience to professional use.
I love films, video games and comics, but I love music more than those three things put together (which I why I write about it at Live Music Scene).
That’s pretty much it. Anything else can probably be gathered from reading what I’ve written, or simply asking.
